With regard to the protection of personal data, POLYMIX is subject to general obligations concerning this website, as well as to obligations relating to its profession.

Preamble

Your personal data will only be collected, processed and used in accordance with legal requirements. Wherever possible, our processes are designed to take data protection requirements into account.

Sources and data used

As part of our customer relations, we process personal data received directly from users and customers via the site.

We store the data required to process your request for information, or your questions about our activities and products. Only the information required to process your request is requested.

Purpose of processing and legal basis

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD), with the French Data Protection Act and in compliance with the profession’s code of ethics.

Concerning the fulfillment of contractual obligations (art. 6 paragraph 1 b RGPD):

The processing of personal data is carried out within the scope of the company’s activities detailed on the website. In the context of balancing interests (art. 6 paragraph 1 f RGPD):

If necessary, we process your data beyond the actual execution of your visit to our website, your request for information or your supplier contract, in order to protect our interests. This includes the monitoring and optimization of our consulting obligations and the traceability of customer inquiries made via the website, the assertion of legal rights and the defense in the event of legal disputes, the guarantee of IT security and the IT operation of POLYMIX, the prevention and clarification of offenses due to an order from a public authority and measures for the conduct of business offered by POLYMIX.

On the basis of your consent (art. 6 paragraph 1 a RGPD):

Insofar as we have your consent to process your personal data for particular purposes, and in compliance with the code of ethics, the lawfulness of such processing on the basis of your consent is assured. Consent may be revoked at any time. Revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of data processing carried out up to the time of revocation.

Due to legal requirements (art. 6 para 1 c RGPD) or in the public interest (art. 6 para 1 e RGPD):

This includes, for example, verification of identity and age, verification of the ability to bind the company making the request for information or entering into the contract, and so on. Unless explained in detail below, no personal data is processed as a matter of principle when using this website, i.e. no data is stored, modified or passed on to third parties.

Contact form

The information collected on this form may be stored in a file processed by POLYMIX for the purpose of sending information mailings or, if you authorize us to do so, for commercial purposes. The legal basis for processing is detailed in the declaration of personal data protection policy.

The data collected will be used and archived in accordance with the RGPD. This personal data will not be passed on to third parties, whether in return for payment or free of charge.

Data is kept for a maximum of 3 years.

You can access your personal data, rectify it, request its deletion or exercise your right to limit the processing of your data.

Registration deadlines

POLYMIX processes and stores your personal data for as long as is necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual and legal obligations. If the data is no longer required to fulfill contractual or legal obligations, it will be deleted.

Your rights as a data subject

Any person concerned by the processing of personal data has the right:

To deletion (§ 35 BDSG, art. 17 RGPD),
To limitation of processing (art. 18 RGPD),

However, restrictions (art. 23 RGPD) apply to the right to information and deletion. In addition, there is a right of appeal to a competent data protection supervisory authority (art. 77 RGPD).

Obligation to supply data

As part of your request; simple consultation of the site, canvassing, or request for information made on the site, you must provide us with the personal data that is requested and necessary for the fulfillment of the related obligations or that we are legally required to collect. In the absence of this data, we will not be able to respond to your request, or the exercise of your legal rights (e.g. guarantees) will be compromised.

Automated decision-making and personal use of the site

To best respond to your request, we do not use fully automated decision-making according to art. 22 RGPD. If we use such processes in particular cases, you will be informed separately. We partly process your data in an automated way for the purpose of evaluating certain personal aspects of use of the site.

Collection of personal data when visiting our website

When you simply use our website for information purposes and do not send us any information in any other way, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. In addition to the above-mentioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk, associated with the browser you are using, and through which certain information is sent to the authority that sets the cookie. In particular, cookies are used to analyze website performance, helping to improve our website by providing us with comprehensive statistics on the number of visitors to a page, the areas of a site that are most frequently consulted, and the city or location of users. Our website does not currently use social plug-ins from social networks (Twitter, Facebook, etc.). Should this change in the future, social plug-ins will only start transferring data once you have activated the buttons yourself.

Information on your right of revocation in accordance with art. 21 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

You may revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data given to POLYMIX at any time. Please note that the revocation only has effect for the future. Processing carried out prior to the revocation is not affected.

Right of revocation on a case-by-case basis

You have the right, for reasons relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you that is carried out in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 e of the RGPD (data processing in the public interest); this also applies to profiling based on this provision under the terms of art. 4 no. 4 RGPD. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data, unless we can justify compelling and legitimate reasons for such processing that are overriding in relation to your interests, rights and freedoms or if the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

If we base the processing of your personal data on the balancing of interests, you may object to such processing. In the event of such a revocation, we ask you to explain why we should no longer process your personal data as we did previously. In the event of a justified revocation, we will review the situation and either terminate the processing of your data, adapt it or explain to you the compelling and legitimate reasons why we should continue to process your data.

Right to revoke data processing for mailing purposes

In individual cases, we may process your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing. You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of such advertising; this also applies to profiling, insofar as it is linked to such mailing. If you object to the processing of your personal data for mailing purposes, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes.
