desde hace mucho m\u00e1s tiempo del que crees.\nLos pol\u00edmeros naturales, como el caucho y la gutapercha, se utilizaban mucho antes de la era moderna.\nSin embargo, el verdadero punto de partida de la industria del pl\u00e1stico se remonta al siglo XIX, con la invenci\u00f3n del celuloide por los hermanos Hyatt.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color pl\u00e1sticos<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Celuloide (1869<\/strong> ): Primer pl\u00e1stico artificial, utilizado en pel\u00edculas fotogr\u00e1ficas, juguetes y art\u00edculos dom\u00e9sticos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Baquelita (1907)<\/strong>: Primer pl\u00e1stico sint\u00e9tico, utilizado en componentes el\u00e9ctricos y objetos cotidianos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PVC (1926)<\/strong>: Material pl\u00e1stico vers\u00e1til que se utiliza en la construcci\u00f3n, la ropa y mucho m\u00e1s.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Polietileno (1933<\/strong> ): Descubierto por accidente, este pl\u00e1stico se ha convertido en uno de los m\u00e1s utilizados en envases, latas, juguetes, pel\u00edculas de pl\u00e1stico, celuloide<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Los hermanos John Wesley Hyatt e Isaiah Smith Hyatt marcaron un punto de inflexi\u00f3n en la historia de los materiales con la invenci\u00f3n del celuloide en 1869.\nBuscando una alternativa al marfil para fabricar bolas de billar, John Wesley Hyatt desarroll\u00f3 un material a base de nitrocelulosa y alcanfor.\nEl celuloide se considera el primer pl\u00e1stico artificial, y abri\u00f3 el camino a multitud de aplicaciones, desde la pel\u00edcula fotogr\u00e1fica hasta los objetos cotidianos.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-074f808b1ec58d737fe07499a706d1dd\" style=\"color:#dc241f\"><strong>Leo Baekeland: la invenci\u00f3n de la baquelita<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Leo Hendrik Baekeland, qu\u00edmico belga, invent\u00f3 la baquelita en 1907.\nEste material termoendurecible fue el primer pl\u00e1stico sint\u00e9tico fabricado a partir de fenol y formaldeh\u00eddo.\nLa baquelita revolucion\u00f3 la industria gracias a su rigidez, resistencia al calor y propiedades aislantes, encontrando aplicaciones en componentes el\u00e9ctricos, mangos de utensilios y joyer\u00eda.\nA menudo se la considera el material que realmente lanz\u00f3 la era de los pl\u00e1sticos modernos.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2e74ef53ea2e3b48192ebb913f66d3ab\" style=\"color:#dc241f\"><strong>Waldo Semon: el padre del cloruro de polivinilo (PVC)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Waldo Semon, qu\u00edmico estadounidense, es conocido sobre todo por sus trabajos sobre el cloruro de polivinilo (PVC).\nEn 1926, mientras intentaba declorar el PVC para obtener un material m\u00e1s flexible, Semon descubri\u00f3 un proceso para plastificar el PVC.\nEste descubrimiento condujo a la creaci\u00f3n de un material vers\u00e1til utilizado en diversas aplicaciones, desde suelos y tuber\u00edas hasta ropa y juguetes.  <\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Los descubrimientos de pioneros como los hermanos Hyatt, Leo Baekeland y Waldo Semon sentaron las bases de una industria que sigue transformando nuestro mundo.\nGracias
